Proverbs 18:22 – ‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour from the Lord.’

Proverbs 31:10-31 – ‘Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life.’

Matthew 19:4-6 – ‘And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate. “’

Hebrews 13:4 – ‘Marriage is honourable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.’

Proverbs 12:4 – ‘An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, but she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.’

Psalms 128:3,4 – ‘Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house, your children like olive plants all around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.’

Deuteronomy 8:18 – ‘And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.’

Proverbs 3:5-10 – ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones.
